My name is Christian Figueroa, and I am proud to serve as the Administrator at the Columbiana location of Small Wonders Discovery & Learning Center.
I am currently in my sixth year with Small Wonders, and I can truly say I have loved every moment of this journey. I began my career in early learning as a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program at MCCTC, where I first joined Small Wonders as a lab student. From there, I have had the opportunity to grow within the company through a variety of roles, including the Administrator role at our Youngstown location. Each role has shaped who I am as an educator and leader today and has given me a deeper understanding of children’s needs, classroom dynamics, and the importance of strong teamwork. I am excited to now be back at Columbiana as the site Administrator.
I believe that building positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and staff is the foundation of a successful early learning environment. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive space where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow, and where families feel confident knowing their children are well cared for each day.
As Administrator, my goal is to continue fostering a positive center culture built on consistency, care, and collaboration. I look forward to partnering with families and staff to support each child’s development and help make Columbiana Small Wonders a place where children truly thrive.
